ACS–Aluminum Clad Steel Wire

Aluminum-clad steel stranded wire can be used for ground wire and conductor of overhead power line, and also can be used for electrified railway cable. It is a cable product with aluminum – clad steel wire twisted. According to the conductivity of the aluminum-clad steel strand is divided into: 20AC, 23AC, 27AC, 30AC, 33AC, 40AC six groups, its corresponding conductivity is 20.3%, 23%, 27%, 30%, 33% and 40% IACS. Aluminum clad steel wire has a relatively large range of size and performance can be adjusted, the advantage in strength is easier to play, good heat resistance, good corrosion resistance and so on.

Aluminum clad steel strand is composed of stranded aluminum clad steel wires.

Application:
1. It is composed of bare, hard-drawn, round, aluminum-clad steel wire.
2. It is widely used in overhead conductor ACSR/AW, grounding conductor and optical fiber ground wire ( OPGW ).
